Hello, Hmm you are inquisitive aren't you. Well I have decided to write a few paragraphs about me, none of it is too revealing <G>
I am a Yorkshire man born in Leeds, way back in 1958 but I live in Fleetwood in Lancashire now.
I went to school in Fleetwood, it was an approved school, Bailey Borstal we called it, but it was really a Secondary Modern school.
With some GCE's under my belt I got a job as an aircraft fitter with an airline called British Island Airways, which merged a few times and became Air UK where I worked on these beasties:
About that time I decided to get out and wanted to be a draftsman. I got a job with British Aerospace as a draftsman.
Things went from bad to worse, I gained an interest in computers (sad) and ended up working in CAD (computer aided design), but that was not too interesting, and I changed jobs yet again.
Still with BAe, I now work as an avionics systems engineer. No not mending, black boxes, or fitting them but integrating them, making sure that they can do the job and are safe, getting all the clearances needed to allow the kit to fly.
